The Permanent Secretary Ministry of Education, Dr Folakemi Olomojobi, has charged Teachers in the Public Secondary Schools to employ contemporary technology skills to enable their teaching experiences.
Speaking at a 2 day training workshop for Mathematics and English Teachers
from all the Government Colleges and Science Colleges in the State, Dr Olomojobi said that Ekiti State Government will not relent in its effort to equip teachers to remain relevant as the “world of work equally advances”

Dr Olomojobi who was represented by the Director Evaluation and Standard, Mrs Feyisayo Omotosho charged the teachers to leverage on the various skills that will be taught at the workshop to improve themselves and cascade it to others as they return to their respective schools.
She stressed that as far as the world is concerned, the use of technology has come to stay, and it behooves on them to maximize its advantage in their method of teaching, hence the need for the training.
One of the facilitators, Ms Omotayo Ibidunmoye said that participants will be taught how to create notes with AI tools such as Chat GTP, Envision, as well as video content creation of their lessons while highlighting the benefits of e-learning amongst others.
