The Commissioner for Education, Dr (Mrs) Olabimpe Aderiye gave the assurance at a meeting with the affected teachers in Ado Ekiti.

Dr Aderiye who said that the Oyebanji-led government would not fold its arms and deny the hard-working teachers of prompt and timely promotions, said prompt action would be taken to correct the flaws as any further delay in the correction of the lapses discovered in the previous promotions would keep them perpetually stagnant.

She said that the governor has been passionate about the well-being of teachers, which informed the meeting to chart a course for an acceptable resolution.

Aderiye opined that only happy teachers can perform optimally stressing that documented evidence should be submitted to the Office of Director, Planning, Research and Statistics or Administration and Supplies, Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM.

Earlier in his remarks , the Chairman of Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Prof. Akinwumi, assured that all issues bothering on the career progression of teachers would be addressed soon.

Praise the Lord. The Lord will uphold you and give you the ability to wipe the tears of the teachers who graduated from EKSU, carrying forward dated certificates. In Jesus name.
