Ekiti State Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security would on Thursday, 25th April, 2024 hold a one-day vegetable farming training programme for youths in the State .

A statement from the State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Ebenezer Boluwade and made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti said the event which is slated to hold at LCD, Erifun along ABUAD-Poly Road, Ado-Ekiti is expected to commence at 10am in the morning.

The commissioner disclosed that the one-day training programme under the auspices of the Ekiti Youth in Urban Farming is part of efforts of the Oyebanji Administration to train and empower youths in Agricultural ventures that quickly generate returns adding that event would also host the launching of the horticulture hub by his Ministry in partnership with Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture.
