EKITI COMMISSIONER TASKS COMMERCIAL DRIVERS ON CLEANLINESS OF MOTOR PARKS

Ekiti State Commissioner for Transportation, Mr Kehinde Ajobiewe has called on Commercial Drivers to prioritize hygiene in the motor parks across the State.

Mr Ajobiewe who made the call in Ado Ekiti, acknowledged the importance of a clean environment for both commuters and commercial drivers, calling on the leadership of the Commercial Drivers’ Unions to champion cleanliness within all motor parks including the Ado-Ekiti Bus terminal at all times.

The Commissioner said that the cleanliness and hygienic condition of motor parks were crucial for the wellbeing and safety of commuters, urging commercial drivers to take proactive measures to always keep their working environment clean.

Mr. Ajobiewe who highlighted the benefits of maintaining cleanliness noted that clean motor parks contribute to a healthier environment for everyone, reducing the risk of disease transmission and promoting overall well-being.

He added that his Ministry was established among other things to monitor and enforce hygiene standards in all motor parks across the State and would ensure strict compliance to its mandate.
