Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye would on Thursday, 25th January, 2024 commission two projects executed by the Ekiti State Office of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at Community Nursery and Primary School, Ilupeju, Ikere- Ekiti .
A statement from the Office of the Director General/Special Adviser to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Prince Adewole Ajakaiye outlined the projects billed for commissioning at the school to include: a newly renovated block of 3 classrooms and a new motorized borehole with over head tank and a 8-5 KVA power generating set.

According to the statement, the projects which were renovated through Direct labour by the SGDs Office are part of its special intervention programs for 2023 and are meant to address SDG goals 3, 4 and 6.
It urged invited guests, stakeholders, particularly members of the Ilupeju community in Ikere- Ekiti to be seated at the venue by 9.00am.
