RESIDENTS APPLAUD OYEBANJI OVER COMPLETION OF AGRIC-OLOPE AND ODO ADO ROAD

Residents of Embassy Island, Agric-Olope and Odo Ado Areas of Ado Ekiti have applauded the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji for the rehabilitation of the major road linking the communities.

Speaking in Ado Ekiti at a prayer session organized for the Governor, the Grand Imam of Ado Ekiti and President-General, League of Imams and Alfas of South West Nigeria, Edo and Delta states, Alhaji Sheikh Jamiu Keulere Bello, described the reconstruction of the Agric Olope/Odo Ado road as “a groundbreaking developmental project that promises to reshape the landscape and enhance the quality of life of the community”.

Alhaji Keulere Bello who expressed appreciation to the Governor for efforts to develop the area, said the reconstruction of the road would enhance economic activities, adding that it would ease movement of goods and services, particularly agricultural products.

He appealed to the Governor to continue his developmental efforts in the area in order to enable people in the area to fully enjoy the dividends of democracy. Alhaji Keulere Bello prayed that God would continue to endow the Governor with wisdom and strength to successfully pilot the affairs of the State.

Responding, the State Commissioner for information, Rt. Hon. Taiwo Olatunbosun assured that the Biodun Oyebanji would not relent efforts at developing the State.

The Commissioner who spoke through the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Advocacy, Mr. Jamiu Adebowale reiterated the commitment of the administration to a rapid development of the State and the general wellbeing of the people, noting that all the road projects in the State initiated by the administration were strategically designed to ease road congestion, raise productivity especially in the agricultural sector and lowers production costs thus boosting the economy.

He charged all stakeholders in the State to continue to support efforts of Government to develop the State and make life easier for the people, stressing the importance of collective responsibility towards achieving the desired goals.
