Ekiti State Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr Gold Adedayo has directed the Director of Administration and Supplies (DAS) of his Ministry to urgently take steps towards the proper maintenance of the Ekiti Kete pavillion in Ado Ekiti.

The commissioner who gave the directive during an inspection of the pavilion complex in Ado-Ekiti urged owners of businesses within the complex to ensure the cleanliness of the pavilion at all times by ensuring proper waste disposal.

Noting that the Ekiti Kete pavilion was a very important asset of the State Government, Adedayo stated that his Ministry would also take proactive steps towards providing adequate security to protect facilities at the multimillion Naira complex.         

Adedayo who frowned at the untidy nature of some parts of the complex warned that the ministry would not hesitate to sanction owners of businesses within the complex if they cannot ensure cleanses of the multimillion Naira complex.        

He urged the people to take ownership of public facilities in their respective areas emphasizing the need for all and sundry to ensure proper maintenance culture.
